Vote for Box of Tricks in The People's Book Prize

News item

Box of Tricks by Jeff Phelps is one of twelve books up for The People’s Book Prize this month. This national competition, which has Dame Beryl Bainbridge and Paul Blezard as its patrons, is aimed at discovering talented authors. Each month, books are voted for in three categories – fiction, non-fiction and children’s – and the book in each category with the most votes will go forward as finalists for the annual People’s Book Prize Awards in July 2010.

Unusually for literary prizes, the winner is chosen each month by ordinary readers in a public vote – and each month 12 voters will win a book of their choice from the next month’s People’s Book Prize collection, as well as a chance to win two tickets to the Gala Awards Night.

So, vote for Box of Tricks here – you can only vote until the end of October so get your skates on to show your support for Jeff Phelps and be in with a chance to win some goodies!
