TANAE contributor Kavita Jindal wins short story competition

We’re delighted to report that Too Asian, Not Asian Enough contributor Kavita Jindal has been announced as the winner of the Haruki Murakami Short Story Competition, which was hosted by booksellers Foyles in association with Murakami’s publisher, Harvill Secker.

Entrants were invited to pen a story of no more than 1500 words, following on from a first sentence picked out by Murakami from his latest novel. Kavita’s story was selected by Haruki Murakami’s UK editor Liz Foley out of scores of submissions.
